I was on evboard and I found this. Is it true?

Norway's THEATRE OF TRAGEDY have inked a deal with Germany's AFM Records. Last Friday, the band and label met in Hamburg to discuss their future. The gothic metal act are currently working on their new album and have most of the material already completed. Musically, the band are promising a return to their early sound.

"If you want, you can consider this album as a kind of follow-up to [1998's] 'Aegis'," drummer Hein Frode Hansen said of the new album's musical direction. "For us this was a very natural way right now."

THEATRE OF TRAGEDY's as-yet-untitled new album will be the group's first to feature singer Nell (THE CREST), who replaced Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull (currently in LEAVES' EYES) in early 2004. A March 24, 2006 release is expected. Download audio samples of two demo songs recorded last year: "Fade" (mp3), "Seven" (mp3).

I tried to reply, but there was an error.
I then understood it was a read only post, apparently <!--emo&:P--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo--> And I was surprised there hasn't been a big upheaval of posts.
Could it be because there are quite a few subforums?? Sometimes, I find it difficult to see what's new. I mean, it's not so obvious for me, but anyway, I am a bit clumsy with computers. <!--emo&:unsure:--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='unsure.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Good news, anyway. Not only because of the style come back, but because it means something is happening.

I'm glad the new way the band is taking...Aégis is my favourite album so I wish the new one would be a great sucessor =)

Finally something happening in the ToT-camp!

I strongly doubt it will sounds anything like Aégis, but i like that it won't be as "happy" as the last few albums. it's half a year left, but I'll wait patiently.

Yeah, hello everyone. Unlike Fox, I don't really have anything to blame for my absence, other than some vague ecuse like "other interests". Mostly I haven't participated here since the board has been less than lively, and there hasn't been much do discuss tot-wise anyway. Heck, i didn't even buy their last album, so maybe I'm a fading fan.. but i do hope that they will find a new sound in the coming album, and I hope that I'll like it.. if I do, or even if I don't, I'll discuss it thoroughly here with all my old friends...as soon as a sample with decent quality emerges..

There is a new sound, yup. Promise. As Hein already said - kinda sequel to Aégis.

And I wish, that people will like it, too. I hope I don't sneak too much if I tell you that the demos I was allowed to listen to are absolutely awesome.

But I hope that it'll be more accessible than "Aégis", just like Assembly and "['mju:zik]". It would be perfect, and don't forget the beauty, that was the most important part.
