I believe there were only around 70 people, which is a shame since it was (one of the) last time(s) to see such a great band live.

Yes, it's really a shame. :cry_2:
I hoped the other shows would be crowded. (Let's see what the other members will write about London.)
Btw, I also think the show went by too fast.

Hi,

I also was at the Sittard show yesterday. I live in Germany, but Frankfurt and Berlin were way too far for us, so we decided for a trip to the Netherlands, that was only 150km per route.

I am into ToT since 1998, but this was my first show...I don't know why that is, because we are going to a LOT of shows. Regret it now.

I counted the audience in Sittard, as that wasn't too hard...there were 58 people.

Where Angels fall left me pretty unimpressed, I have to say.

But ToT were really great and gave their everything, even for a small audience. I think Raymond is one of the best live vocalists I heard.

While I felt a little sorry for the band, I enjoyed the the pretty empty hall, as I am used to extremely overcrowded venues with lots of aggression going on here in Germany...that's a reason why we are going to the Netherlands whenever possible, to see a show. It's always emptier (is that the correct word? ;-) ) than here.

After the show they came out and hung out at the merch. We got FITW signed and took a picture with Raymond and Nell. Raymond said a sentence in German to me, but refused to do it again, because "this is the Netherlands" ;)

In the End it was absolutely worth the trip to the Netherlands and I am really sad, that they called it quits.

Greets,
Alex

Just a short note about the London gig yesterday...
Really great! Their best gig ever! And about 350 people which is pretty good.

Love is more than simply being open to experiencing the anguish of another person's suffering.
It is the willingness to live with the helpless knowing that we can do nothing to save the other from his pain.

That was one helluva gig, oh my god!!! I never saw them having so much fun on stage! They were more than just awesome. Master and me agreed that this was the very best show they ever did. :)
Too sorry for those who missed it....

I agree with Master & Hamster: the gig was amazing! Each single song rocked, even a couple of those which in their album counterpart were not my favourites. And even Raymond seemed to be having a great time on the stage! The best parts were his duets with Nell, which unleashed all my fangirlhood. XD Too bad for the little technical inconveniences, but it was fun to see Nell trying to fix the mic with adhesive tape. XD

Oh well, after this gig I MUST go to Stavanger, seeing them live once was not enough!

I have to admit that london was an amazing gig, I was so shocked when hamster and master told me they weren't usually like this live. I've been saying this for years the Uk loves you guys! I have to admit I did have a fanboi moment when they played fade. But it was just amazing. It was great actually meeting the band, I was really nervous about talking to them. Like when me and my friend went into the world's end or something pub next door I was already sitting down with my drink and I was like "hold on, is that Nell?" I was too nervous and I could see they were busy so...

But honestly it was one of the best nights of my life and was great meeting people from the forum, finally

Wow, that was a truly great evening, I really enjoyed it and as other have said the band seemed to be enjoying themselves to. The setlist was also really well chosen and it didn't feel like there was a weak song in it. I too will have to see if I can make the stavanger gig, flights at £170 are a bit steep but will have to see what I can do.

Good to meet you Master and Hamster, sorry if I didn't look really with it, I hadn't slept much from the night before and was really zoned out. Boy I really woke up though when ToT hit the stage. 10/10 gig.
Hail to the bitterness.

Was the set list for those recent gigs a broad selection or did they focus on one era or another? Can't wait to see them in Stavanger!

It's good to know that you all had a blast. This builds up the anticipation for the concert in Mexico. :)

Yesterday the show in Frankfurt was awesome again!!! It's such a good choice of songs and so wonderful to see how ToT have fun together on stage.

The venue and number of fans were even worse than Berlin. Incredible!
The location "Nachtleben" looked more like a bigger rehearsal room.
My last little piece of hope in the German audience from the past died yesterday.
But enough. Thanks to everybody who supported them there.

I enjoyed the show pretty much. The whole set list was played anyway.
Thank you Theatre of Tragedy! :clapping:

Ask your local promoters to bring the guys to NA. The fact that the band is giving its last tour should rise sales and interest.

I went to their last gig of this leg of the tour (Lisbon) and it was great. I think about 200 people attended the show. Talked to all the members and Hein told me that after October he and Lorentz will start a new project (other members might be on it too). They don't know yet what kind of music will be, they just know that they're be doing something.
About The Crest, Nell doesn't know nothing about it.

Cheers

It does! For some weird reason I think it can't be too bad when Hein and Lorentz and maybe some other members ;) are included. As long as they don't make Hip Hop or Eurodance music... :pinch:

And I still hope that there will be some The Crest in the near future. Nell and Kristian are just too good to call it quits. Would be such a waste of BIG talent otherwise... Nell once mentioned something about label hassle. So this one is for all the labels who hassle them: :moon2:

Oh, don't you think Raymond would be your fav Hip-Hop singer?
...but as i hate HipHop, I don't want this to happen as well :D Nevertheless I could imagine Raymond doing something more electronic/industrial again.
