Who else? Ash, Chris, Eowyn, Kain - what about you guys? Where is the rest?

I swear I'm trying, but things are not looking bright nowadays. :S

I've decided not to go to the gig.

This might sound a bit funny, but maybe the best things in life are the ones you only experienced once - and i saw 'em already the first (and now the last) time. I want to keep it a one-time experience.

Still I'm a bit biased, but I fear that i want more live ToT after the Stavanger gig...

@Kain: Did you see ToT before their SA tour?

Yeah, this was the third time I saw them and everytime is different. I'm hoping that they will change the setlist by including Disintegration (OH PRETTY PLEASE!) and a certain song which was exclusive for the SA tour (and it's awesome!). I also expect some of the old gang joining them briefly on stage (like Tommy getting the 12-string guitar to play Cassandra) and at least two songs from Assembly.

The setlist for the Mexico City gig was also longer and I expect the one in Stavenger to be even longer with five or six more songs as they'll probably have to edit the show for the DVD and some songs might not make it (something completely expected and normal).

In other words, you're going to regret it if you don't go. :P

And it's a great opportunity to buy FItW Tour edition, which comes in a BEAUTIFUL package, comes with Addenda EP and you can get it signed. A must buy, the Mexican version looks so ugly in comparison.

Hehe, yea u are a kind crew :) Havn't experienced this in many other forums...

As I've said I'm still a bit biased. Right now I have to cope w/ stuff @ uni anyways. I hope in Mid July stuff clears up a bit.

@Kain: I've the Tour Edition, got it on the FITW Frankfurt Show :) I'ts a real great package! Especially since i hadn't the Limited FITW w/ the black disc (just the normal album, due to amazon not labeling the stuff correctly...). But now I have all three editions: Jewelcase, Digi and LP

And now you've turned me envious-green.

:P

I want the vinyl version. Hope to get it if I go to Stavenger. Ditto with the Musique and Assembly reissues.

And, man, you should definitely go. I totally forgot (and I'm really sorry, blame it on the GREAT concert from the band) that a lot of the board members are going to be in a single place! That's awesome! Last tie I couldn't meet Luci and it'll be great to meet the webmasters again, and getting to see the new faces. :)

This will be my first opportunity since discovering the band in 98 that I will actually meet any other ToT fans at all. The metal fans here in the US I have met react to the name of ToT with blank stares, and even when traveling I never crossed paths with anyone who liked them. The closest I ever came was some random guy at a King Diamond concert in 2003 who shouted out at me about my Velvet Darkness hoodie. Can't wait to meet as many of you as possible!

I had originally planned on coming alone, but luckily I convinced a friend to join me. I just asked "How would you like to do something really stupid and crazy just because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for some serious fun? From Seattle to Norway to see ToT's last gig, then turn around and come straight home. Best trip ever!" How could he say no? :whistling:

Well, he still has to pay his own way. ;) I just had to brainwash him into thinking it was a good idea!

Are prices from Chile really high even out of travel season?
