So ToT has performed all over the world, to large audiences.

...except in the US.

I'm in the US. ToT isn't. This sucks. A lot.

Y'all don't plan on coming down here anytime soon, do you? A tour with others, such as Tristania, etc.? Perhaps even American bands, such as Rasputina or something?

Hello there and welcome!
This topic has been brought up before, but ofcourse youwouldn`t have known that! LOL! Well it seems that TOT doesn`t have the financial backing to do a tour of the USA. So Buy more TOT cd`s!and request them on your local radio stations!

I'm not crazy. I have a piece of paper that says so :-P

I'm really sorry to hear that the US won't be seeing ToT anytime soon. I'm considering flying out to Germany /just to see them play/. Ah, to be rich...

Ahem. I figure there's some clarification required here.

I am balls-poor. I live off rice and beans, and skip meals so I can pay for college. I am a college student.

The "Ah, to be rich" was wishful thinking.

If I were rich, I'd be there already.

Blimey.

I need to stop getting into bands from outside of my home country!!! I'll never see Dir En Grey or (especially) Theatre of Tragedy in the United States!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I wish a band member would post here, and tell me that ToT is coming to the US on their next tour, because they love us spoiled US kids. Yep. That would be nice.
Listen to Dir En Grey. Now.

I agree with you that with some bands the studio recordings are superior to there live performance, but that is due to the amount of post processing done to the music.

Tot, on the other hand sound very similar live, which I can only guess means they dont have to do a lot of post processing to may their music sound great!!

That would be interesting to hear what Burzum would sound like live, seeing as Varg's singing sounds more he's holding a small dog to the microphone and torturing it rather than singing.
Studio recordings are made track by track and you can correct mistakes. Live bands are just more raw and fresh.
And TOT are among the best playing live. Oh, the energy, the passion...!
ToT is getting played in clubs here in Toronto (Canada).
I would love to see them live!
