Guinness is actually my current favorite. Hungry says I should try Murpheys... Can't seem to find it though.
I haven't heard of Murpheys, but it sounds good.
If you like red beers(also known as "ales"), try Old Speckled Hen.It's not as strong as Guinness, but its taste is wonderful!
Cheers!

Wow! Luctepes you seem to know some good English beers!!! New Castle is a weird kind of beer that you either like or hate... I like it alot, but not all bars here have it ;( ... Bishops Finger and Old Speckled Hen are good as well, but nothing special for me...
Try some Bass Ale, Samuel Smith Stouts and Young's Double Chocolate as well... God - I'm thirsty now as well... If you can find 'em of course...
Its Murphys and yup its one of my fav beers - though I'm telling you - IT IS VERY BITTER :green: . Its the only Irish stout that I could find in a nearby bar, back home in Athens, all these years and I suppose this is the main reason that I love it so much... I've drunk alot of barrels of Murphys all my life...

I just look it up on the web and their website is:
http://www.murphysbeers.com/home/

Well, I don't consider myself an expert, but after some bottles and expensive bills to pay you develop a "talent" .
I like Newcastle too('though I prefer Old Speckled...).Would you believe I can find it in supermarkets?Of course not in every supermarket, but there's one near my job where it's possible to get some good beers.Unfortunately, if you want to try different tastes you've got to say goodbye to your money and go to "pubs"(without inverted commas only in Great Britain, I think  ) or bars where even breathing is expensive.
There's a nice one next to my house(well, not that next) but the prices don't vary too much. Before college it was ok, but now things got harder.
Anyway, you can always find a way to have good beer.
I'll try to find the ones you told me about.IOnce I also like bitter beers, I think Murphys can be a nice surprise...
Specialists say belgian beers are the best.Try Chimay, Duvel(devil in french  ) or Belle Vue, in case you like sweet beers.
Here's the website of one of my favs.A german one called Erdinger:
www.erdinger.de.
Thank you for the tips.Cheers!
