Sweden's biggest metalmagazine Close-Up Magazine recently reviewed Assembly in the latest issue.
Here is a translation of the review for anyone interested:

THEATRE OF TRAGEDY does it again and I'm completeley lost. Today there are no bands to compete against the norwegians.
They are the biggest and the best.
On the previous album "Musique" (2000) the sound was bended a fair bit. It was more DEPECHE MODE than growling metal.
THEATRE OF TRAGEDY dared to leave the traces of the charming "Aegis" (1998) to evolve. The result became a sweet mixture of goth, synth and metal spiced up with futurevisions in Kafka as well as Bret Easton Ellis-style.
The recipe partially remains on "Assembly", which was recorded in Finland with Hiili Hiilismaa (HIM, MOONSPELL, 69 EYES) as the producer.
The last metalpaint has been scratched of and they have put thier led on developing ther gothic pop side. Besides there are traces of melancholy and a deep poetic tone in what THEATRE OF TRAGEDY makes today.
And it sounds very good.
Liv Kristine are no doubt the most important part of the band.
Her voice lifts the songs to unexpected heights and the teamwork with Raymond I Rohonniy rich voice are extremely effective.
The only artist this year to compete with verbal hits like "Universal Race", "Superdrive" and "Starlit" are Thåström.
Wasn't this Mikael "sissy" Sörling's interview???

He's into everything with female vox, be it good or bad..
