<br>That's no problem, you're not missing out on too much. I think the songs on the self-titled could have been wicked if the production hadn't been a disaster. There are quite a few nice bits (the best/tightest songs are A Hamlet for a Slothful Vassal and A Distance There Is), but there's a lot of things that are out of time or constantly speeding up that make me wince every time I hear them. Liv's voice has also been buried well down in the mix, which is a shame, because some of her most beautiful vocal lines feature on the album. I keep thinking "demo quality" every time I hear certain songs, and for a major album release that's not good.

<br>If I could have just one request granted by the band (genie-style, LOL), I would ask that the self-titled be re-recorded in its entirety, with a good producer, to do the songwriting justice. Any chance you could do this for me, Raymond? Maybe?
