If ever there was a band with ze tongue firmly in cheek, it was - and is - ToN. I do like some of their stuff, but to me they represent the The Darkness or Spinal Tap of the goth genre. So it goes well with candlelight, but I usually find myself smiling at how cartoon-like they can be.<br><br>And why should sad people write sad music? 'Ooh, I'm depressed, I think I'll further steep myself in personal tragedy and bewail my lot by recording a real moaner of an album...'.
