My cousin took me to a concert years ago, I can't honestly remember when or where it was but tot were suppourted by lacuna coil and beseeched and after that I just fell in love with tot, I think it was in 2001 because they were playing tracks from musique. I was 11 at the time so I've kind of grew up listening to tot.

ToT origins? Breaking the silence...

..Years ago... Being at the Atrocity/Das Ich „Die Liebe“ tour in December 1995 – Merkers on 14 December 2005 – will never forget that later so important concert of my life. As support THEATRE OF TRAGEDY from Norway – young, new but absolutely great and convincing! Can’t remember an other band fascinated me and touched my heart in this way before. That night has influenced and changed the rest of my life. – Not only still loving the fantastic music of Theatre of Tragedy – that concert has presented me eight and a half wonderful years with my lovely boyfriend, I met through. (God bless him wherever he is.) After that gig (A Hamlet for a Slothful Vassal – Bring Forth Ye Shadow – Dying I only feel Apathy – Cheerful Dirge) I hasn’t been interested in seeing Das Ich or Atrocity or anything else. Nothing should be like before. From that day I had to attend every Theatre of Tragedy tour. The fire for Theatre of Tragedy will always burn deep in my heart… as same as for my boyfriend, the love of my life. (He shall rest in peace!) …

Thanx killer_shoe for your sympathy.

But nevertheless we all should thank Theatre of Tragedy for what they are and what it makes them so likeable... Kindness, frankness and the contact to their fans. THANKS.

That's so true. Tot is probably the only band that I've been able to casually talk to. And accidently asking one of them to pretend to look after me so I could go to a gig. sorry lorentz
