Does anyone got the lyrics of Image (French version)? I know the meaning is the same, but I would like to know.
And, why did ToT wanted Image in French :?:

I actually like it better than the english version! It's got more.. spunk!
Aaaand I heard that version before I heard the english version, which might have something to do with it.

well i've got the french edition of "Musique" (since i'm french) so i could give you the french lyrics of "Image"
since i've got other stuff do right now i'll only give you the french chorus :

QUOTE

Je vais te sublimer,
Je vais te dominer,
Le sort est jeté

i can also tell you some lyrics are pure nonsense, or built in a wrong way, and most of the french translation doesn't match the meaning of the english version (see above)
i remember when i got the album, i sent an email to Liv about the french translation (how it was built, what for etc.) but never got an answer...
but i guess Liv likes french - the language + maybe the people :?:
well, i'm afraid not anymore...
Dark tendencies i feel,
Haunting me...forever.

Well, yes. And it seems that it was recorded as a new song. At first I thought they just changed Liv's voice but I've listened carefully and the keyboards sound different.

Here's the translation:

Actúas de afeminado, pelele
Vive tu fantasía, cae más bajo
¿Quién es ese(a)? Algo dice tu nombre
Tienes suerte, sin embargo
La llamada es mía

Voy a pararte
Estaré arriba
La llamada es mía

Al doblarte bailoteas
Eres la declaración de la antimoda
En un traje azul, un suéter naranja
Pareces mi viejo perro Rover
Cayó el telón, ¡pero el mundo es para siempre!

A mi me parecen sugerentes...(they look like very suggesting lyrics...)

People, don't forget to keep this forum in English, please so that anyone can discuss what you're talking about.
I also wanted to say that sometimes it is so hard to express yourself in a foreign language... I can appreciate that here in the Uk. Sometimes, I don't have the words, or, I do have them, but they don't make the same effect when said in English (especially with swearing). Sometimes I just can't help saying things in Spanish.

I haven't seen Delicatessen, but I hope to see "The city of the lost children" soon, because a friend here has the video in French with English subtitles.
