I will definitely be there! My first ToT show will be their last, but it will be worth the trip. I just booked my hotel! For any other fans in the USA who want to go, there are great prices for flying that weekend.

I only I hope I don't buy the plane tickets, hotel, and other expenses and then get shut out of the gig :-)
Does anyone know when tickets will be available???

I guess in about 2 months.
Maybe the band should already block some tickets for board members.

Direct flights from Frankfurt/Main (Lufthansa and SAS).
Don't know about other German airports if they're going non-stop.

Trust us, our jaws just dropped, too. ;)

Here is a Hostel, don't know how good it is: http://www.hihostels.com/dba/hostels-Stavanger-042104.en.htm
Another one: http://www.regionstavanger.com/en/WHERE-…els/?TLp=390943
(I guess that's the cheapest way to have a bed over there...)
Others: http://www.tripadvisor.de/Hotels-g190511…rds-Hotels.html

The SAS flights seem to be quite affordable, too, by the way...

Booked a hotel right across the street from the club. The Clarion Hotel Stavanger. There are actually quite a few hotels to choose from there.

Just go to the lufthansa website. Frankfurt to Stavanger. Date from 30.09 or 01.10. and Date to 03.10 or 04.10. Then you will receive a list with 99 Euro flights.
Which dates did you enter?

I picked 10/02 for departure, maybe that was the problem.

Edit 1:Thank you very much, found it now :D

Edit 2: Ok it's cheaper to fly from Munich than to go to Frankfurt by train and then fly

Ha, it's like 60 euros to fly from Warsaw, Poland :) I wonder if the travel includes a place to sit:P
A hotel is significantly more expensive than an air trip to Norway and back :| Need something cheaper, so the shack thing Hamster linked to is probably my only chance of not freezing at night :P

There's no flight from Italy to Stavanger, so I guess I'll have to fly to Oslo and then get to Stavanger by train. The flight is RyanAir so it should be quite cheap. How are Norwegian trains? Are they expensive?

If I remember correct they are.
We first wanted to fly to Oslo and then go on by train... Well, look at that mess yourself: http://www.nsb.no - one ride would take you 9 effin' hours (!!!)
So you should better try to take a flight or train or whatever to Graz, Salzburg, Frankfurt, --- or maybe even a flight to Oslo, and then take a plane to Stavanger Sola.

I think that we will get to Riga by train, and then by plane to Stavanger. Then we wil probably visit Bergen after concert.
